Auto Setup in OSX Tiger Release, Printer Setup Utility Crashes
Question
A problem has been reported regarding adding the GCC 20/600, 20/800 or 20/1200 printer using AutoSetup in the Tiger Release of OSX . This report indicates that when an you select Auto Setup in teh Printer Setup Utility the Utility will often crash or quit unexpectedly.
Answer
GCC has determined this report to be valid and although intermittent it will occur irregularly. The attached file will give you instructions on how to successfully add your GCC 20/600, 20/800 or 20/1200 using the Printer Setup Utility. This is a work around to be used until we can distribute a permanent resolution to this issue. We thank you for your patience.
