  Parallel Printing problems from Win95/98
  Question
Ever since installing my printer on Windows 95 or Windows 98 via parallel, I am getting error messages when trying to print. The printer will print a blank sheet, then an error message such as the one below:

ERROR: undefined
OFFENDING COMMAND: ,
STACK:
/setlinewidth
/Lw

How can I resolve this?
  Answer
This error is caused by a setting within the driver's Properties section relating to Bi-Directional Parallel support. The printer does not support this feature, but it is the Windows default setting. To eliminate the error, you should disable bi-directional support as follows:

-Go to the Start menu, and down to Settings.
-Select Printers, and single-click the printer icon to highlight it.
-Go up to File and down to Properties.
-Select Details, and click the Spool Settings button.
-Select "Disable Bi-Directional Parallel Support for this Printer".
-Click OK, then Apply, then OK to accept the changes.

This should eliminate the error message
